2023 Exhibits & Events Schedule

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 – Saturday, February 11, 2023: “29th Annual Warm Springs Annual Tribal Member Adult and Youth Art Exhibition”

The Museum at Warm Springs will combine the Tribal Member Adult and Youth Art into one exhibition. Come and enjoy many generations of beautiful artistry in paintings, drawings, mixed-media, beadwork, weavings, video, photography and more, in two categories of Traditional and Contemporary Art.

Thursday, April 6, 2023 – Saturday, May 27, 2023: An Eye for the Rez: Edward Heath Photography”

This exhibition — part of The Museum’s 30th anniversary lineup of exhibitions, public programs and special events — features 38 photographs by renowned Warms Springs photographer Edward Heath (Warm Springs, Wasco, Yakama, Paiute and Klamath descent). Support for “An Eye for the Rez” is provided by a grant from The Ford Family Foundation.

Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – Saturday. September 2, 2023: “The Museum at Warm Springs (1993-2023): A 30-Year Retrospective”

This exhibition — part of The Museum at Warm Springs’ 30th anniversary lineup of exhibitions, public programs and special events — will chronicle The Museum’s 30-year history through engaging text, original archival documents, historic photographs, audio and video components, original architectural designs, models and artworks from the collection of Donald J. Stastny (representing the architects of record, Stastny & Burke Architecture, Portland), and additional artworks from The Museum’s vast collections. Support for the exhibition is provided in part by a grant from the Oregon Heritage Commission.

Wednesday, July 26, 2023: Reception and Public Program in Conjunction with the Opening of “The Museum at Warm Springs (1993-2023): A 30-Year Retrospective”

Donald J. Stastny, representing the architects of record, Stastny & Burke Architecture of Portland and a long-time member of The Museum’s board of directors and a past board president, will revisit the origins and progress of the design process that created The Museum at Warm Springs. He will also sign copies of his book, “PORTALS: Seeking Transcendence.” The books will be on sale for $100 each with proceeds going to benefit The Museum. The opening reception will take place at 6:30 p.m. followed by the public program at 7 p.m. The reception and program are free and open to the public.
